
Tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 12) is the last day to submit votes by mail for Saturday’s election. According to the Clerk of Court’s Office, there was record breaking early voting numbers for Webster Parish: 774 in-person voters on Tuesday was the highest single day number ever in Webster Parish; 7,041 in-person early votes (5,016 in the last Presidential Election);
1,460 mail in ballots received and counting; 8,501 people have already cast their votes. That’s more than 33 percent of total registered voters.
Saturday, November 13 is the election, and there are four Constitutional Amendments on the ballot, two of which are important to tax payers.
If you didn’t make it in to cast your vote, locate your polling place and cast your vote between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday.
