Starting Monday, homecoming festivities began at Glenbrook School. With spirit days throughout each day of the week, Apaches students of all ages were excited for the game against Arcadia.
On Thursday at 10 a.m., the 2022 Homecoming Court and their escorts were introduced to the entire student body in the annual presentation. Glenbrook Alumnus and current teacher, Chris Scroggs introduced each lady and shared her personal achievements along with her future plans.
The 2022 Court consisted of Adriana Vandenoord-Freshman Maid, Baylee Cottle-Sophomore Maid, Makenzie Branton-Junior Maid, Emalyn Anders-Senior Maid, McKinley Milam-Football Sweetheart, Madolyn Vandenoord, Olivia Blackwelder-Princess, Gracie Purvis-Princess, and the 2022 Homecoming Queen, Sarah Margaret Mosley. The presentation was followed by the Court’s Luncheon, hosted by the Queen and her family.
On Friday evening before the football game, the court presentation and crowning of the queen took place. Each girl was escorted by her father or grandfather and was presented a bouquet of flowers by the senior football players.
To end the 2022 Court Presentation, Glenbrook Headmaster Darden Gladney officially crowned Sarah Margaret Mosley as the 2022 Homecoming Queen.
The presentation was made possible by Glenbrook Alumnus and Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Cydni Scroggs.
