
Glenbrook Apaches snatched the lead late in the game in a 6-3 victory over Many TigersTuesday. Glenbrook trailed 3-2 in the top of the fifth inning when Toby Haulmark tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.
Many Tigers opened up scoring in the second inning when Trevor Mclendon singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Hayden Harmon was the winning pitcher for Glenbrook. The fireballer went four innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out six. Turner McLelland threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Tuffy Cutrer took the loss for Many. Cutrer allowed seven hits and five runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two.
Glenbrook tallied nine hits on the day. Maddox Mandino and Harmon all managed multiple hits for the Apaches. Harmon and Mandino each collected two hits to lead the team. Preston Frye led the Apaches with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.
Mclendon went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Many in hits. Many was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Jesse Taylor had the most chances in the field with seven.
