
Six runs batted in from Jacey Adams helped lead Minden Tiders past Doyline 18-2 on Wednesday. Adams drove in runs on a single in the second, a double in the third, and a home run in the fourth.
In the first inning, Minden Tiders got their offense started.
The Tide tallied six runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower was led by Brooklyn Edwards, Lindsay Ryan and Adams, who all drove in runs.
Ryan earned the victory on the rubber for Minden Tiders. The pitcher allowed three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out four.
#99 was in the pitcher’s circle for Doyline and went three and two-thirds innings, allowing 18 runs on 13 hits and striking out five.
The Tide tallied one home run on the day. Adams had a four bagger in the fourth inning.
