
Who was Lavinia Eagan?
At 6 p.m. Monday, June 10, Night at the Museum, Mary Claire Kettler will tell about the life of Lavinia Egan.
Born in Mt. Lebanon, Lavinia Egan was a columnist for the Philadelphia Times, served on the Board of Lady Managers for the 1904 World’s Fair, and the Governing Board of the National Woman’s Party. She was devoted in her work to secure the right to vote and equal rights for women. Admission is free and donations are always welcome. Refreshments are potluck snacks and desserts. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Seating is limited.
