Seven properties open for Christmas tours

“A Hometown Christmas” continued to be the theme as the Webster Parish Christmas Tour of Homes took place Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025.

“Get into the holiday spirit with an unforgettable experience touring seven stunning properties, each elegantly decorated for the season,” said one of the tour directors. The tour took place from 1 until 6 p.m. and tickets were only $15.

The seven properties included the following:

The Magnolia Spot, 1519 Shreveport Road;

The Minden Belle, 1201 Broadway;

Estate Les Chenes, 2529 Highway 531;

The Fuller-White House, 220 West Union Street;

Huffman Manor, 1114 Broadway;

The Scheerer House, 706 Elm Street;

The Stewart Center @ the Webster Parish Library, 521 East & West;

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1107 Broadway;

The Dorcheat Historical Association, 116 Pearl Street.

“A Hometown Christmas” festivities in historic downtown Minden are being sponsored by the Webster Tourism & Visitors Bureau, the Greater Minden Chamber, GB&T, the City of Minden, and the Minden Main Street Program.
