Three Webster Parish deputies with a combined 57 years of service were honored Friday during a retirement reception hosted by Sheriff Jason Parker.

Lt. Jesse Lowe, Lt. Charles “Chuck” Clark and Deputy Roger Grubbs were presented specially designed replica badges noting their years of service.

“It has been a pleasure to work with these officers. They have faithfully served the people of Webster Parish and we’re going to miss them,” Parker said.

Lowe is retiring after 31 years of service in multiple departments of the Sheriff’s Office. Clark, who served 16 years, also had nine years with the Minden PD and 10 years in the military.

Grubbs, who retired after 33 years as a teacher in public schools, began as a reserve deputy before advancing to part-time, then 10 years as a full-time bailiff in the 26th Judicial District Court.
