Lakeside is readying for its homecoming game this Friday night as Lincoln Prep comes to town.

The Warriors are sitting with a 3-1 record and are fresh off a 54-20 pounding of Beekman Charter.

The visitors boast a 3-2 record with wins over Beekman, Ringgold, and Arcadia.

Lakeside will look to continue doing what it does best and win the game on the ground by chewing up yards and game clock behind the strong legs of Ashton Stewart.

Blocking for Stewart will be his O-Linemen: #75 Gavin Garland, #60 Bruce Bunton, #54 Jamarion Evans, #50 Kris Redden, and #77 Keegan Bryan.

The Warriors rushed for 250 yards last week including 160 from Stewart.

Lakeside will be looking to limit penalties as they picked up 13 yellow flags last week for more than 100 yards.

The game is slated for 7 p.m. with homecoming court presentation at halftime.
