
Minden Medical Center (MMC) has announced that Patricia Bailey, MSN RN has been named chief nursing officer (CNO), effective December 14.
“I have had the opportunity to work with Patricia for many years and the level of professionalism and compassion she brings to MMC’s operation is among the best.” stated Jim Williams, Chief Executive Officer of MMC. “We are looking to Patricia to lead MMC’s clinical services through a cultural and service excellence renaissance in support of our desire to create a place where patients choose to come for healthcare, physicians want to practice and employees want to work. Please join us in welcoming her to this very important executive role. You can also look for her to become very active in the community and help us connect the MMC family with the family of Minden and Webster Parish.”
Bailey has demonstrated a strong sense of leadership throughout her 16 year tenure at Minden Medical Center serving in the roles of Medical/Surgical Nurse manager, Inpatient Satisfaction Champion, Director of Inpatient Dialysis Unit, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Education and Employee Health, and Interim Chief Nursing Officer.
Bailey received her Mater of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northwester State University. She also received a bachelor’s of science in animal science from Louisiana State University. Patricia was named a State of Louisiana Nurse Leader Institute Fellow in October 2020.

She is compassionate, service-minded and a forward-thinking leader who will not only continue the great work happening at Minden, but also help take our hospital to the next level,” said Jeff Lee, chairman of MMC’s board of directors. “We are eager to see Patricia continue to build upon the great success she has achieved at Minden Medical Center.”
