Man, Woman of the Year lead Mardi Gras parade

Jake Chapman (left) and Tokia Whiting-Harrison served as grand marshals in Saturday’s Mardi Gras parade. Chapman is Minden’s Man of the Year, while Harrison is Minden’s Woman of the Year.

Minden’s Mardi Gras/Fasching Parade was Saturday in downtown Minden. There were more than 40 entries in the parade. As of Monday afternoon, all winners had not yet been notified, but the Webster Parish Journal will list them when they are released.
