A north Webster Parish man is in trouble with the law for opening fire on another man.
Simieon S. Locke, 21, of N. Roosevelt St., Springhill, was arrested Thursday by Springhill Police and charged with illegal use of weapons.
According to the report, Locke was driven by his girlfriend to the vicinity of Center Park Drive and 4th St. SE, where the vehicle stopped at the intersection.
Locke reportedly exited the vehicle and began firing a Glock .40 caliber pistol at a subject who survived the assault. Locke allegedly fired in excess of 10 bullets at the subject.
Residents confirmed Locke then entered the vehicle and, with his girlfriend still driving, sped away from the scene at a high rate of speed.
Camera footage from a local business showed audible sounds of gunfire, as well as the described vehicle leaving the scene.
