The 2022 MLK/Black History Parade & Youth Rally – postponed last month – will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19 in downtown Minden. As of Monday, there were 25 floats signed up for the parade.

Minden High School and Louisiana Tech graduate and current defensive player for the Kansas City Chiefs J.J. Sneed will serve as Grand Marshal of the parade.

There will be a Battle of the Bands, are vendors, scholarship winners and a day of service motivating the youth of Minden.

Everyone is invited to attend.
