United Christian Assistance Program needs the following items:
Food: Ramen noodles, powered milk, cereal, biscuit mix, cornbread mix
Household goods: pots and pans, towels, king and queen sheets
Clothing: men’s medium and large short sleeve shirts, men’s shoes sizes 10-13
Funds for Utility Assistance: We help qualified applicants with utility assistance one time in a 12-month period and no more than 3 times in 5 years. We have been providing up to $150 each household in assistance but as of July 1 we’ve had to cut back to $100.

UCAP is open from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays at 204 Miller Street, Minden, for food, utility and rent assistance. Clothing is dispersed on Wednesdays only.
