Lakeside has announced Valerie Stovall as its new assistant principal. 

“Stovall is a dedicated and innovative professional educator with over 24 years of experience,” principal Denny Finley said. “She strives to help students work to remove limitations set by society, overcome academic challenges, and break barriers to develop into productive citizens.”

Stovall has served in several educational roles: Assistant Principal, Career Specialist, Curriculum Coordinator, Reading Interventionist, Assistant Program Director, Educational Consultant, Professional Development Facilitator, and Teacher.  

She specializes in curriculum development, data analysis, coaching, teacher support, and diverse learning.  

She joins Ashley Hooter in the school’s assistant principal role.
