Three persons have qualified to run for Webster Parish School Board District 9 seat, which was vacated by long-time member Frankie Mitchell. Mitchell did not run for re-election last fall, and no one qualified to run for her seat.
LaTanya “Tan” Grigsby, Jerri Lee and Jo Ann McWoodson hope to get the voters’ nod in the March 25 election.
The following is important information for the Saturday, March 25 Municipal Primary Election:
Deadline to register to vote in person, by mail or at the OMV Office is February 22.
Deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System is March 4.
Early voting is from from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. March 11 through 18 (excluding Sunday, March 12).
Deadline to request an absentee ballot is March 21 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.
Deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is March 24 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. election day.
