
North Webster Lady Knights Softball fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-0 loss to Quitman Tuesday. Quitman took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.
The Lady Knights struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Quitman, giving up 11 runs.
Quitman fired up the offense in the first inning, when Pulling grounded out, scoring one run.
A single by Paige Timmons in the first inning was a positive for North Webster.
Guysette took the win for Quitman. The pitcher surrendered no runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six.
Carlie Campbell took the loss for the Lady Knights. The righthander allowed seven hits and 10 runs over four innings.
Emma Newsom started the game for North Webster.
Anna Ray, Adryana White, Anekah Coleman, and Timmons all had one hit to lead the team.
Pulling went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Quitman in hits.
