Caldwell Parish captures lead early to defeat North Webster Lady Knights

North Webster Lady Knights fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-6 loss to Caldwell Parish Friday. Caldwell Parish scored on a wild pitch during Riley Hatten’s at-bat in the first inning, a single by Se’Marai Smith in the first inning, and a grand slam by Keesley Ross in the second inning.

Aniyah Davis drove in four runners in the loss on a grand slam in the sixth.

In the first inning, Caldwell Parish got their offense started when.

The Lady Knights notched five runs in the sixth inning. Their offense in the inning came from a walk by Anekah Coleman and a home run by Davis.

Caldwell Parish scored four runs in the second inning on a grand slam by Ross.

Smith led the Caldwell Parish to victory in the pitcher’s circle. The bulldog allowed six hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out eight.

Carlie Campbell took the loss for North Webster Lady Knights. The pitcher went two innings, allowing seven runs on five hits.

North Webster Lady Knights tallied six hits. Coleman and Davis each collected multiple hits. Davis and Coleman each collected two hits to lead the team. North Webster didn’t commit a single error in the field. Coleman had five chances in the field, the most on the team.

Caldwell Parish saw the ball well, racking up nine hits in the game. Daisy Temple, Ross, and Parker Nugent all collected multiple hits for Caldwell Parish.

Glenbrook ladies grab lead in sixth to defeat Lady Tigers

Glenbrook Lady Apaches snagged a late lead and defeated Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers (Franklin, La.) 9-6 Friday.  The game was tied at six with Glenbrook  batting in the bottom of the sixth when Gabi Brown homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.

Lady Tigers scored four runs in the sixth inning, but the Lady Apaches still managed to pull out the victory.  Lady Tigers offense in the inning was led by Hilary Pillaro, Addie Lovell, and Kinsley King, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Glenbrook captured the lead in the first inning.

Rebecca Mosley led the Lady Apaches to victory in the circle. The righthander lasted seven innings, allowing ten hits and six runs while striking out four.

Claire Childers took the loss for Lady Tigers. The pitcher went six innings, allowing nine runs on seven hits.

The Lady Apaches launched one home run on the day. Brown went yard in the sixth inning.

Glenbrook tallied seven hits in the game.  Sarah Margaret Mosley and Anna Grace Vining all managed multiple hits.  Vining and Mosley all had two hits to lead the team.

Lady Tigers totaled ten hits.  Pillaro and Lovell all had multiple hits for Lady Tigers.  Pillaro went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Lady Tigers in hits.
