
It was a tough day Tuesday for Glenbrook Lady Apaches who lost 13-3 to St. Fredericks Land Warriors in the second round of the play offs.
Glenbrook notched three runs in the third inning. Gabi Brown had a RBI home run in the inning to lead the scoring.
Abagail Creighton pitched the Lady Warriors to victory. The pitcher surrendered three runs on four hits over five innings, striking out ten.
Rebecca Mosley took the loss for Glenbrook. The pitcher lasted four and a third innings, allowing eight hits and 13 runs.
The Lady Apaches hit one home run on the day. Brown put one out in the third inning.
Vivian Still, Mosley, Sarah Margaret Mosley and Brown each collected one hit to lead Glenbrook.
ST FREDS Lady Warriors had eight hits in the game. Avery Houser, Hannah Gammage and Kendall Taylor all collected multiple hits. ST FREDS didn’t commit a single error in the field Piper Yarbrough had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
