The following arrests were made by local law enforcement agencies. Minden Police Department (MPD), Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office (WPSO), Louisiana State Police (LSP) and others which are named.
April 26
Royon Drante Ward, 22, of the 1900 block of Field Rd., Magnolia, Ark., was arrested by Cullen Police for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Ward told law enforcement that he is out on bond awaiting trial for home invasion in Springhill and is a felony on probation from Arkansas.
April 27
James Wayne Wilfong, 76 of the 500 block of Elton Wise Rd., Shongaloo, was arrested by WPSO for illegal use of a firearm.
April 28
Dedrick Cortez Erving, 31, of the 500 block of N. Main St., Sibley, was arrested by WPSO for aggravated second degree battery on an active warrant.
Tywastia Willis, 40, of the 100 block of Austin Rd., Minden, was arrested by MPD for resisting an officer (false name), possession of Ecstasy with intent to distribute, and an active bench warrant.
April 30
Pearl Gipson Sanders, 78, of N. Collins St., Cullen, was arrested by LSP-G for driving while intoxicated and careless operation of a motor vehicle.
