FINAL IN SERIES: Vietnam Veterans Killed in Action

PFC Kenneth Lee Thomas was born 17 Aug 1944 to Tom Harman Thomas and Helen Louise Hughes Thomas in Doyline, Louisiana.  He was Protestant and married.  He was an only child.

He was in the United States Marine Corps as a Private First-Class Rifleman.  His Unit: C CO, 1ST BN, 5TH MARINES, 1ST MARDIV, III MAF. His tour started on July 22, 1968, and he was killed a month and a half later on September 2, 1968.  He was 24 years old at the time of his death.  He died from hostile fire in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam from Small Arms Fire

His body was recovered, and he was buried at the Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Red Chute, Bossier Parish, Louisiana in Section 15. 

He will be honored at our Armed Forced Day Celebration.  Please remember his sacrifice and the freedom he gave us.
