Doyline struggles against Many

Doyline Panthers can’t catch up to Many Tigers

Doyline Panthers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 7-3 loss to Many Tigers Monday.  Many scored on a single by Ky Warren and an error in the first inning.

The Tigers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Warren singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Many scored three runs in the third inning.  Jonas Hendrickson and Luke Westbrook all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Benton Bates started the game for Doyline. Bates lasted one inning, allowing three hits and four runs.  Cayden Mingo and Austin Arbaugh entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Mingo, Arbaugh, Dakota Stewart, Zach Normand, and Jonas Florence each collected one hit to lead the Panthers.

Warren led Many with two hits in two at-bats.

Many captures early lead to defeat Panthers

Doyline Panthers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 12-0 loss to Many Tigers in the second game.  The Tigers scored on a walk by Luke Westbrook, a walk by Joseph Yount, and an error in the first inning.

The Panthers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Many, giving up 12 runs.

Many got on the board in the first inning when Westbrook drew a walk, scoring one run.

Dakota Stewart started the game for Doyline. The pitcher lasted one and one-third innings, allowing four hits and seven runs while striking out three.  Dario Galvez and Cameron Johnson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one-third of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Many tallied seven hits on the day.  Payton Hyden and Garet Culverson each racked up multiple hits for Many  Tigers.
