Women Helping Others (WHO) has scheduled a fund-raising event to close out summer.
From 5 until 9 p.m. Saturday, August 12 at Sarepta Community Park, “Peace Out Summer Back to School Bash” will be the place for fun while helping Pack the Bus with school supplies.
Ramanda Ketchum said everyone should bring lawn chairs and an appetite to enjoy eats from several on-site food trucks, including ice cream, boudin balls, snow cones, coffee, BBQ, cotton candy, loaded fries and more.
“We will also have a Cornhole tourney, LaMa BINGO, field day games, music, bounce house and Glow Fun Run,” Ketchum said. “Those who bring school supplies and uniforms to Pack the Bus will receive a raffle ticket.”
