Blessed are the peacemakers

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

The good news is “We are blessed when we promote peace to all.” We are blessed when we overcome evil with good.

Hebrews 12:14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

We should pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
As we have seen, “seeing the Lord” is our ultimate goal.

A peace maker promotes peace, a peacemaker is not perfect, but  we should try to be at peace with others and let our light shine in a dark world full of hate and evil!!

Being a peace breaker is not the character of a Child of God. Peace breakers promotes drama, confusion and likes sowing discard amongst others.

As we read this article, think about what this is saying to us! Let us examine ourselves and our own lives! Not our neighbors, but we should love our neighbors and pray for them!

God’s word tells us that we are blessed if we are peacemakers.  Those who are peacemakers are those who have  been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.  Gods children have the peace of GOD on the inside and it shows up on the outside.

The seventh beatitude takes every Christian worker into the task of conflict resolution. Conflicts arise whenever people have differences of opinion. In a fallen world,  God’s  people should set the example of promoting peace and love not hate and confusion.

In God’s kingdom, it is a blessing to bring people together who are in conflict. Only then is it possible to resolve the conflict and restore the relationships.

The result of conflict resolution is peace, and peacemakers will be called “children of God.” They will reflect the divine character in their actions.

God is the God of peace
(1 Thessalonians 5:16) and we show ourselves to be his children when we seek to make peace in the community, in our homes, and wherever we go.

Peacemakers are not perfect, but they try their best to be a light for Jesus, peace makers don’t like  drama and confusion.

Being a peacemaker doesn’t mean to be quiet about  something that’s  not right In God’s word.

Lord Help us to be better examples for you, in our homes, in the communities and wherever we go.
In Jesus Name. Amen
