A small but enthusiastic group rounded out the three-part vision meetings at Minden Community House last week.
The message, however, remained the same. Minden’s strengths and opportunities are also its challenges.
Those include workforce development, the city recreational complex, healthcare, entrepreneurship and Miller Quarters park.
Minden was described as a quaint, friendly town with good water but high utility bills and the need for faster more stableinternet connection.
A 135,000 grant covers the Strategic Economic Plan that is being instigated by the City and Atlas Community Studios. Results will be released at a later date.
