North Webster’s J’Kobe Lawson had three rushing TD’s and one receiving score to lead North Webster over visiting Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy 52-12.
Xavier McGlothan, playing his second game at quarterback, was in command of the offense with two passing and one rushing touchdown.
The Knights’ defense was excellent all night as well, coming up with several big stops, sacks and one turnover, an interception by Lawson.
The win secured a winning season for the Knights (6-4) and a home playoff game one season removed from a 2-8 campaign and missing the postseason.
The Knights await the release of the LHSAA’s Non-Select Division III playoff bracket to see who will be coming to Baucum-Farrar Stadium for round one of postseason play.
