The Cox Family, a Grammy-winning singing group, performed for residents of Savannah Court in Minden on Thursday, Oct. 31. The group enjoys a worldwide audience in the bluegrass, gospel, and country genres. The family hails from Cotton Valley. Various generations of the family of musicians have recorded and performed for over 70 years. Today, The Cox Family includes Sidney Cox and his three daughters, Anna (stand-up bass), Sara (guitar), and Lydia (mandolin). The group is well-known for their vocal harmonies.
