Masons recognize C.C. Cox for 70-plus years of membership

C. C. “Cat” Cox of Cotton Valley was presented a Certificate of Recognition for his 70 years of membership in the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana F. & A.M. on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2023.

Friends and family gathered to witness the presentation at Savannah Court in Minden.

James Ridge, secretary of Cotton Valley Lodge # 335, presented the certificate, which certifies that “Brother Clarence Carlton Cox of Cotton Valley Lodge No. 335 has been a Master Mason in good standing for a period of 70 or more years. Therefore, as a visible token of our fraternal love and grateful appreciation, this certificate is presented to him by his brethren, the Masons of Louisiana, with fervent hope that his years of service to the craft will continue to increase.”

Cox was also presented a blue and gold service medallion.
