Just a reminder that 4 p.m. today (Friday) is the deadline to enter Week 11 of Webster Parish Journal’s Football Pick’em Contest.

Webster Parish has 3 high school teams in the 2023 LHSAA playoffs. They all play today at 7 p.m.

North Webster High School, 6-4, plays Patterson, 3-7, in Springhill. Patterson Lumberjacks hail from  St. Mary Parish.

Minden Crimson Tide, 3-7, plays West Feliciana Saints, 8-2, in St. Francisville. 

Glenbrook Apaches, 7-2, play Sacred Heart 3-7 at Glenbrook School in Minden.

Glenbrook and MHS games will be aired on KASO/KBEF, and Webster Parish Journal will have stories in Saturday’s edition.

Anyone 18 and older is eligible to participate in our football contest, where you choose among high school, college and pro teams. All it takes is an email address and a combination of skill and a little luck. Each week, area high school football games, college teams and pros will be posted on the Webster Parish Journal. And just like the Journal, there’s no cost to enter.
