Col. Carl Thompson receives his membership certificate in the National Society of Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). Through family research by Cindy Madden, Dorcheat-Bistineau Chapter Regent, there was found a family member who supported American Revolutionary efforts in the area of Rutherford, N.C.
