Four men were arrested by Springhill Police for stealing from a couple of juveniles last Wednesday.

Isiah Vernon Cooper, 18, Antonio Gay, 19, Shikel Deandre Holden, 18, all of Springhill and Kelvin Dwayne Harris Jr., 19, of Tyler, Texas, are charged with armed robbery.

“An under-aged kid in Springhill went over to the west side of town attempting to sell some vapes to other under-aged kids, and when he got over there, the four individuals robbed him,” said Police Chief Will Lynd. “They took him and his girlfriend out of the car at gunpoint and took the vapes and her cell phone.”

Cooper’s bond was set at $75,000 and Gay’s was set at $250,000. Holden’s bond is $150,000, while Harris’ bond was the highest at $350,000.

Arresting officer was Ofc. Tyler Adkins.

Springhill juvenile arrested on weapons’ charge

What was originally thought to be a drive-by shooting late Thursday night, was really a “walk by,” event, according to Chief Lynd.

“A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested for shooting up in the air trying to scare some others,” Lynd said.

He is charged as a minor in possession of a firearm and discharging it in the city limits.
