The following arrests were made by local law enforcement agencies. Minden Police Department (MPD), Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office (WPSO), Louisiana State Police (LSP) and others which are named.

Dec. 27

Earnest T. Jones Jr., 33, of the 1100 block of Pine St., Minden, was arrested by WPSO on a warrant for aggravated assault with a firearm.

Dec. 28

Richard S. Gandy, 42, of the 900 block of Elmo Burton Ln., Minden, was arrested by WPSO on violation of protective order and battery of dating partner.

Stephen Alvin Garland, 33, of the 300 block of Garland Rd., Minden, was arrested by WPSO for simple battery.

Steven Mitchell Miller, 54, of the 100 block of Shreve Dr., Minden, was arrested by WPSO for simple battery.

Courtney M. McLain, 25, of Pasadena, Texas, was arrested by Springhill Police for obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud and possession with intent to distribute.

Dwayne Edward Clark, 56, of the 600 block of Pennsylvania Av., Minden, was arrested by WPSO for felony theft and theft.
