A Minden businessman is the new interim District 5 representative for Bossier Parish School Board.

Logan McConathy owns a State Farm insurance agency in Minden and Chairman of the Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce in 2022.

McConathy took the oath of office in a special school board meeting. He replaces Adam Bass, who was elected to state senate. He will serve until Nov. 5, 2024.
