The following arrests were made by local law enforcement agencies. Minden Police Department (MPD), Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office (WPSO), Louisiana State Police (LSP) and others which are named.

Feb. 19

Jimmy Norton Jr., 51, of the 100 block of Timothy Dr., Minden, was arrested by MPD on a fugitive warrant from Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.

Feb. 20

Shanice D. Luevano, 32, of the 400 block of SE Railroad, Sibley, was arrested by Sibley Police for domestic abuse and domestic abuse with child endangerment. According to reports, Luevano “head butted” her 14-year-old juvenile in the mouth in front of a 6-year-old.
