Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
We have to learn that God’s timing and our timing are not the same. For God is never late. He’s always on time. He’s all-knowing and all power. I know at times when we are going through trials and tribulations, we sometimes ask God…..how long?
How long will evil be called good and good called evil? How long will the wicked prosper?
God’s word has never failed, and it never will. We can trust his timing because he intends to follow through no matter how long it takes.
Stay In Line With God And Trust His Timing
Have you ever been on your way somewhere and was held up by a train. Oftentimes we are in a hurry and we want the train to move quickly so that we can get to our destination.
I remember one time I was held up by a train and was sitting there for a long time, so I decided to back up and go another way, after I got out of line another car pulled up and as I looked back the train was starting to move and the vehicles preceded to move.
I then said to myself, If I would have just waited and stayed in line. You see, I got out of line to go another way because the train was taking too long, but little did I know, the way I thought was quicker took longer.
In this analogy about the train, in our lives, we get impatient and get out of line with God when we try to handle situations on our own without seeking God first. The train in this article represents our circumstances, trials, and tribulations.
We have to wait until the conductor and engineer move the train in order for us to move on. We must wait on God and keep trusting in him while we are going through the storms of life.
We can’t allow the enemy to disrupt and distract us from getting out of line with God. We must stay in the will of JESUS and trust in his timing.
Trusting God’s timing means acknowledging that He knows what is best for us and that His timing is always perfect.
Stay In Line With God And Trust His Timing
Prayer: Precious Heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace and mercy. Lord, forgive us for our sins known and unknown. Help us to trust and wait on you, God. You’re always on time. Help us, Lord, to stay in line with your word. In Jesus Christ’s Name, we humbly pray. Amen
Be Encouraged!
Glory to GOD!!
