Shout out: Future welders! Future Ag workers! Future woodworkers! Future craftsmen and women!

North Webster High School students from a myriad of classes led by program director, Emmanuel Keith, beautifully restored 15 wooden benches from the downtown Springhill area for the Keep Louisiana Beautiful campaign- Love the Boot Week. 

All benches were carefully disassembled, old wood removed. Iron was meticulously combed over with wire brushes and brand new slats were furnished. A fresh coat of stain and sealer went on and voila – the benches were reborn! 

A leader that teaches kids to care in the quality of their work is bar none. 

Thankful for the teachers and parents that shape young minds to see that their contributions to society matter.
