It can cost the victim a lot of money but learning to recognize scams can cost you nothing if you attend Lunch & Learn, a free community event from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 301 Pennsylvania Ave., Minden.

A free lunch will be served with RSVP to 318-377-4434.
