Village of Dixie Inn’s mayor and aldermen will hold a special meeting today to continue a discussion on law enforcement, after voting to keep a police force inside the town limits.

According to the agenda, Mayor Donna Hoffoss will introduce an applicant for Chief of Police. Afterward, discussion will be held to decide the number of officers needed and a pay scale for them.

The meeting will be held at 4 p.m., Village Hall, 60 Shell Street, Dixie Inn. The public is invited to attend.
