St. Jude Singing is in its 18th year at Eastside Baptist Church.

“It is a Gospel singing event started because of my love for gospel music and St. Jude,” said coordinator Tim Greer.

Hhost group is The King’s Servants hosting church Eastside. The feature group is Greater Vision. They are the most awarded trio in southern gospel music with two of their members in Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame. 

“I lost a sister to cancer in 1979,” Greer said. “She wasn’t a child but it still hit home to me and I have several friends that have had children there. (We will do) anything to help find a cure.”

Event is 6 p.m. St. Jude Singing, Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. Tickets: $15 in advance; $20 at door.
