At the end of qualifying last week, the mayor and aldermen for Dixie Inn received no opposition for their respective offices.

Mayor Donna Hoffoss will serve another term, as will Aldermen Nell Finlay, Judy McKenzie, and Lance Milligan. All four are Republicans.

“I’ll just say that I’m very pleased to be able to work for the Village of Dixie Inn for another four years,” Mayor Hoffoss said, adding that she “has enjoyed working with members of the present Board of Aldermen, who have shown great concern for the people of the village, and have been responsible for the spending of the village’s money.”

Although the four Dixie Inn elected officials are unopposed, the election will take place Nov. 5, 2024. New terms will begin Jan. 1, 2025.
