The Minden 12U Ponytail All Stars’ World Series bid came to an end on Monday afternoon. A scheduled 9 a.m. (eastern) start was pushed all the way into Monday afternoon due to rain.

The Louisiana Dixie Ponytails fell short to the Prince George Royals by a final score of 4-3. Madison Jernigan took the loss for the Ponytails, allowing no hits, striking out one and walking none. Lola Huddleston started for the Ponytails, allowing three runs on three hits, over two innings, striking gout one and walking none.

The Ponytails outhit Prince George by four hits to three, with Madison Jernigan getting two of those hits including a RBI while going 2 for 2 on the day. Layla Holford had a hit and two RBI and Rhea Waller picked up a hit as well.
