Minden’s Academy Park is the place to be this Saturday, if you want to contribute to the community in the best way possible.

Michael and CheQuella Walker’s 9th annual Prayer in the Park will begin at 9 a.m. August 17 with speakers Bro. Chet Johnson, Rev. T.J. Davis, John Gill Jr. and Brandy Powell.

“Please join us,” Walker said. “We will be praying for our students, teachers, city officials, first responders, our community and our country.”
