Attendance for the second Food Truck Night held at Miller Quarters Park Monday evening, August 19, was still fairly good despite the triple digit temps.
“In my opinion, we had a pretty good turnout,” said Minden Main Street Director Taylor Wren. “There weren’t quite as many people as last time, but I think if it becomes a consistent event there will be more people.”
According to Wren, she also believes the spontaneous thunderstorm that swept through the parish deterred a couple participants and attendees from showing up.
This event sponsored by Home Federal Bank featured three food trucks, Red Man’s BBQ, Big O’s Burgers and Harris’ Corner and live entertainment provided by Casey Martin.
A third Food Truck Night is being discussed, but currently a date and time have not been determined.
