UPDATE: Minden Police still seeking shooting suspect or suspects

UPDATE: Minden Police continue to look for a person or persons responsible for the shooting of a Minden man late Sunday night. By 8 p.m. Monday, there were no known changes in the victim’s condition.

A 28-year-old Minden man is fighting for his life in a Shreveport hospital after being shot once in the head just after 11 p.m. Sunday at a residence in a local housing complex..

Minden Chief of Police Jared McIver said Keandrious Mingo was shot as he sat in a chair on the front porch of a residence in the 600 block of Marion St. Mingo was treated at the scene, then airlifted to the Shreveport hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

“Our investigators are pursuing multiple leads in this case and we’re still gathering information,” McIver said. “At this point, it’s an attempted homicide but that could change.”

Evidence gathered at the scene of the shooting indicates several shots were fired, McIver said.
