For those looking to learn or enhance their self-defense skills or a fun way to close those fitness rings, Minden now has a brand-new Jiu Jitsu gym located downtown, 126 Chevrolet Street.  

They held their ribbon cutting ceremony with members of the Greater Minden Chamber and local supporters on Thursday, Sept. 5, where attendees had an opportunity to divulge in a snack and a show.  

“We are happy to welcome them to the Chamber and appreciate them choosing Minden to open their third location,” said Greater Minden Chamber President Stephanie Barnett.  

They also have locations in Bossier and North Desoto offering training for adults and children in Brazilian-Jiu Jitsu, martial arts and kickboxing.
