The Minden Civitans held their annual installation banquet recently at the Minden Fairgrounds. Presiding over the banquet was outgoing President Judy Grubbs. Special guest attending was Minden Lions Club member Charles Purdy.

After a delightful meal, Grubbs was presented a plaque for her service as President of the Minden Civitans for the past 2023-2024 year by Civitian Joe Holley. Holley then presented Roger Grubbs with a plaque for the “Civitan of the Year” award.

In closing, Joe Holley swore in the new officers for the 2024-2025 year. Roger Grubbs will serve as President, Steve Bryan as President-Elect, Betty Purdy as Secretary, Ed LaBruyere as Treasurer and Bill Barnett as Chaplin.

Board of Directors include Margie Barnett, Johnny McCormick, Johnny Miller and John Quade.

The Minden Civitans welcome any new members with weekly meetings held every Tuesday.
