Local student makes history: Lakeside High’s Alyssa Chang wins elite QuestBridge Scholarship to Skidmore College

Lakeside Jr. Sr. High School senior Alyssa Chang has earned one of the nation’s most prestigious academic honors – a highly competitive QuestBridge scholarship to attend Skidmore College in New York. This full-ride scholarship is awarded to only the most exceptional students across the United States, recognizing both outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential.

Chang will join Skidmore College’s incoming class at the highly selective liberal arts institution in Saratoga Springs, New York. The QuestBridge scholarship will cover her full cost of attendance, valued at over $92,000 per year, making it possible for her to access Skidmore’s renowned academic programs and intimate learning environment, where students benefit from a close-knit 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
