Minden Firefighters answered a call around 6 p.m. Thursday for a possible electrical fire in the Party Express buildings, once owned by Jimmy Hall and recently purchased by City of Minden on Recreation Drive. Fire Chief Brian Williams said damage was confined to one room. “The department arrive on scene quickly and kept damage to a minimum,” he said. Firefighters were back in service in about 30 minutes.
