
On behalf of the Glenbrook School Board of Trustees, Darden Gladney, Head of School, announced that Johnna Jinks will fill the role as Head of School beginning June 1, 2025. Josh Legendre will continue in his role as Assistant Head/Dean of Students as well as Head Boys Basketball Coach.
Johnna Buckley Jinks is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and both a Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Education in Educational Leadership. She has held various roles as an educator for the past 20 years in multiple parishes within private, public, and laboratory school settings. Her administrative experience includes the positions of instructional coach, district facilitator, assistant principal, and principal. A native of Union Parish, Mrs. Jinks currently resides in Ruston with her husband, Mark, and daughter, Marley. Her son, Mason, was recently married and lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with his wife, Sadie.
“Glenbrook is an amazing school that excels in both academics and athletics,” Jinks said. “It is a true family where the students, faculty, and parents work together to create a culture of excellence both in and out of the classroom. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Glenbrook as Assistant Head of School and am extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our Glenbrook family as Head of School.”
Coach Legendre has worked in both public and private education in schools in North Louisiana. As a math teacher, coach of various sports, and administrator, he brings a wealth of experience to Glenbrook School. A native of Claiborne Parish, Coach Legendre lives in Bossier with his wife Drue and daughter Aslynn.
“The opportunity to serve as Assistant Head/Dean of Students for Glenbrook School and continue to be involved in coaching student athletes is the ideal position for me at this stage in my career,” Legendre said.
