Haynesville’s Lady Golden Tornado jumped out to an early lead and hung on to defeat the Doyline Lady Panthers 11-5 last week.

Haynesville got on the board in the top of the first inning on the strength of a two-run double, an RBI triple and a run-producing groundout, then added more to take a 5-1 lead into the fourth.

Karmadie Bartlett went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Doyline and Raelynn Pease and Bartlett each drove in one run for the Lady Panthers.
