Doyline’s Lady Panthers overcame a four-run lead Monday with a five-run fifth inning on their way a 12-6 extra inning win over Forest.

Kanyion Bartlett’s two-run double was the big hit in the inning, as the Lady Panthers took a 6-5 lead.

After Forest managed to tie the game at six apiece in the bottom of the fifth, Doyline blew the game open with six runs on five hits in the top of the eighth to wrap up the win.

Lanie Gates collected four hits in five at bats to lead Doyline hitters who collected 10 hits in the game. Raelynn Pease, Bartlett and Gates each drove in two runs.

Sariyah Gill picked up the win, going four and two-thirds innings in relief.
